The consultation – Answering more questions
Assessment of the recent engagement with the public on the proposed nature study area in the Upper Woods of Waterlow Park is now underway. Various uncertainties were voiced along the way which, while we can give some reassurance, we cannot of course pre-judge the ultimate analysis of your views or what decisions may then be taken.
Camden has said this: “The proposal that was consulted upon does not include any suggestion of sole use. At no point, now or in the future, is it the intention to allow an individual, group or business to book the area in question for their sole use and benefit, or to discourage other park users from visiting the area.”
Waterlow Park is held in trust by the Council and changes such as those consulted upon would be discussed by the Trust Advisory Group (TAG), which is chaired by and includes local group representatives. The notes of meetings of TAG are published. No actions will take place until the feedback has been discussed and recommendations made.
