New Trees

Three new trees have recently been planted in the park:  two sorbus aucuparia ‘Golden Wonder’ (rowan) trees replace two which have died in the grass area immediately below the park centre. A carya illinoinensis (pecan hickory) has been planted near the older children’s playground.  This replaces a Nyssa sylvativa which died.  There are plans for a thuja plicata in place of the ash felled near Lauderdale House once the stump has been ground out.
