Collecting and Processing Your Data
We only communicate directly with members and those who have asked to be on our mailing lists but are not members, by email and hold this data on two computer spreadsheets, and a mailing list on MailChimp. We also have old paper membership applications, pre-2017, which we are in the process of destroying.
We keep names and e-mails, some addresses, telephone numbers, and records of annual membership payments and donations, offers of help and suchlike. You are free to ask what information we have about you.
Any communications you receive will only come from the Friends of Waterlow Park Committee and every communication will, from 25 May 2018, provide an opt-out option.
We contact you from time to time with news, event announcements and information relevant to Friends of Waterlow Park.
Friends of Waterlow Park will not pass your data to any third party for marketing or any other purposes.
You may unsubscribe/opt-out at any time in response to our newsletters using the unsubscribe link in each email. If you don’t wish to hear from us at all please use the contact form to let us know.
When new members sign up they will get an email to confirm their subscription.
Two years from 25 May 2018 we will contact you to see if you wish to remain on our lists, which started in 2009, and will remove you and your information unless you indicate otherwise.
