Easter weekend gatherings in the Park
Many people have complained about the barbecues, noise and crowding in the park on Sunday 31 March and Monday 1 April. All the complaints received have been forwarded to Camden Council who manage and hold the trusteeship for the park.
Larger events (20+ people) are required to seek permission in advance but Camden have advised us that they had not issued permits for events on either of the days and that they are investigating the issue as well as dealing with the clearing up and repairs required. There are clear BBQ guidelines, in particular, not to use disposable BBQs and to be considerate to other park users as well as removing rubbish.
