‘From Here to There’ – a reflection by artist Richard Layzell

Richard Layzell, artist-in-residence at Lux, the video-art archive based in the Waterlow Park Centre, developed a poem at the height of the lockdown of a dystopian journey through the streets of North London to the tranquil relief of the Park. The poem, illustrated with the occasional image, reflects the range of emotions many people have gone through in these difficult times. Layzell is an internationally recognised performance and installation artist working both with industry and communities with a long track record of commissions from major galleries.
